Create Ability Northern Ireland was tasked by this client to create a more spacious less cluttered closet WC. By installing a narrower wash hand basin vanity unit offering extra storage underneath, and by providing a higher 18 inch WC, there no longer was the need for the raised toilet frame. A much more modern and safe environment was achieved with the sanitary ware which Create Ability Northern Ireland supplied and installed.
The clients for the above bathroom were finding it difficult to manage the existing step in shower tray. Louise at Create Ability Northern Ireland project managed the renovation, overseeing her Team of installers to ensure a level access wet room shower with half height shower doors was fitted to meet with Occupational Therapy required specifications. All materials supplied by Create Ability Northern Ireland.
My Client in Antrim had recently become a wheelchair user and no longer could get in or out of their house. Louise coordinated the team of builders to create a wheelchair accessible permanent ramp meeting with the correct slope gradient to ensure safe entrance and exit for both client and carers who assist.
Although the above client already had a level access shower tray in situ, this was no longer suitable for use with a self propelling shower sanichair that the client would now be using. By removing the stud wall and installing an Impey wet room shower dec with half height bi folding shower doors, Louise ensured that both client and Carers could use this new showering area safely together.
Create Ability Northern Ireland supplied, installed and commissioned the above Closomat automatic shower toilet for a client in Millisle who suffers with arthritis and had difficulty self cleansing. Having a WC that washes and dries the user, gives back independence and dignity.
Another example of an installation of an Impey wetroom level access showering bathroom conversion recently carried out for clients in Donaghadee. Louise coordinated the plumbers, floor layers and joiners to also re hang a new door to make better access into the new shower room to make it easier for the client who uses a rollator.
